Creating your budget

Choose a personal-only budget or include a joint account, then add each person’s regular income, bills, savings and optional joint contribution.

Bills and end dates

Bills can have a custom category, due day and optional end date for a fixed-term loan or temporary payment. End dates are notes and do not remove bills automatically.

iCloud sync and sharing

Your household can sync through your iCloud account. Sharing is optional and uses Apple’s iCloud sharing controls to invite editors or viewers.

About this policy

This policy applies to CheeBudget, an iOS household-planning app from the Chee Suite. CheeBudget works without a developer-operated account, advertising, analytics or tracking.

Information you add

CheeBudget stores the household information you choose to enter, including people’s names, income sources, bills, savings, contribution amounts, categories, due days, end dates and notes. The developer cannot view or recover this information.

Storage and iCloud

Your budget is stored on your device and may sync privately using Apple CloudKit when iCloud is available. CheeBudget does not copy your budget to a developer-operated server. Private iCloud information is controlled through your Apple account.

Sharing a household

Households remain private unless the owner deliberately uses Apple’s iCloud sharing controls. Invited members can view and update the shared household. The owner can manage participants or stop sharing, while a member can leave the household and return to their own local or private iCloud data.

Trial and purchase

CheeBudget includes a 14-day free trial. Continued access after the trial requires a one-time lifetime purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. CheeBudget receives the purchase status needed to unlock or restore access across supported devices, but does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Retention and deletion

Your records remain until they are removed. The household owner can delete the household, which removes its people, income, bills, savings and categories and queues deletion from iCloud. A shared member leaving the household removes their access without deleting the owner’s household. Removing CheeBudget from one device does not necessarily delete information already stored in iCloud, which may return after reinstalling while signed into the same Apple account.

Your choices

You can use CheeBudget without sharing, remove individual records, manage invited participants, leave a household shared with you and turn off iCloud access in Apple’s device settings. Household owners can delete their household. Share only with people you trust.

Support and children

If you contact support, we receive only the information you choose to include and use it to answer your request. CheeBudget is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated service.
